A Gorilla Necklace saves the day… !

So my husband (thank you, Honey!) devised a plan for William to scare off the “gorillas” in the house.

He took an old necklace from his grandmother, this beautiful vintage necklace, and decided that it would be the “Gorilla Special Power Necklace.”

How cool is that?

And since it’s a necklace that has “special powers” William only has to wear it in the morning (and just for a few minutes – kids with necklaces on don’t mix), say “Gorillas be gone!” And then they are gone for the day!

Just like that! 🙂

He was fine all day long… and bed time was a little tough to get him settled into… but we took the necklace up to him around 9pm, let him put it on for a few moments, and he did a special nighttime…

“Gorillas be gone!”

And he fell asleep at 9:30pm and woke at 6am…

Could this be working??

I hope so… if it does, I’ll start making “Monster Be Gone Necklaces!”… I have a feeling that will be next!
